Who we are

SHUTDOWN BIOLAB is an emerging coalition formed in response to the recent environmental disaster in Conyers, Georgia.

The infrastructure, like this website, has been created by staff at Georgia Conservation Voters Education Fund (GCVEF), with the intent to support authentic community leadership going forward. Organizations that sign on to the demands will be listed here. GCVEF responded to the issue due to staff members who live in Conyers being forced to shelter in place. This About page will be updated as the coalition grows and community leaders redefine and shape it according to their needs. By signing up for this coalition, you are joining a coalition of the willing.
